Museum Mystery Madness Month
Calling all detectives for family fun at your local museum. September is mystery month at Sunshine Coast Museums including Bankfoot House at Glasshouse Mountains, Buderim Pioneer Cottage, Eumundi Museum, Landsborough Museum and Nambour Heritage Museum. Collect your free magnifier, solve problems and discover heritage – it is fun for everyone! Tour one or all of the participating museums to be in the Museum Mystery Madness Prize Draw (one entry per person, per museum). Each museum offers a different quiz, and a new competition entry! At each museum, answer the quiz and add your contact details, before placing it in the colourful box at reception.

Eumundi Museum is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am–3pm

Good Parenting Seminars Buderim
On Tuesday nights throughout October from 6.30pm till 8pm, Goodlife Community Centre in Buderim is running a Good Parenting series. On the 4th of October, guest speaker and local clinical psychologist Graham Kell will be presenting; sharing challenges and tips for parenting primary school-aged children before a Q&A time and supper. Similarly, for the following three Tuesdays, the guest speaker will be another local clinical psychologist, Sarah Harriet. Her focus will be on parents who are expecting or have children in the first few years of life. Cost is $10 pp/couple each week with a movie and supervision available in an adjacent room for young children. Registration is essential. Email Greg on [email protected] to book your place.
Sunshine Coast Veterans Market
The inaugural Sunshine Coast Veterans Market will be held from 7am till 12 noon at the Yandina Eumundi RSL in North Street Yandina on Saturday the 15th of October, as a part of Veterans Health Week. Come along and celebrate the amazing skills, talents and offerings in our Veteran community. They will be showcasing the Ex-Servicemen’s Organisations in Queensland, Veteran Family Businesses, Side Hustles, Entertainment, Fun, Games, Competitions, free food, garden, and nutrition presentations and much more.
