The Sanctuary Park, Nambour Church of Christ, is providing a unique opportunity, at no cost, for anyone to come to their open parklands and to quietly silently reflect (not a led service) upon the Easter story in the presence of three full-scaled size crosses, located at the rear of their property.
Attendees are freely welcomed to come and go as they please without needing to speak to anyone.
There will be people available, however, to talk to within a courtyard setting if required.
Anyone is also welcomed to come whenever they please, during day-light hours, to sit and to quietly reflect over the Easter period or at any other time.
Feel welcomed to bring the kids with balls to kick around within the parklands or take advantage of the fenced small-child play area. Have a picnic even!
We simply ask for everyone to be mindful of anyone else who maybe quietly sitting within the reflection area.
What to bring: camp chairs or ground blanket, torch, covering clothing and insect repellent.
Time: Maundy (Thursday March 28) Reflection time: 6pm-8pm
