Ride for Hope is a 1200km (approximately) adventure aiming to connect communities and to strengthen lives in support of mental health across Queensland.
Kylie Read from Hope Reins joins Salt 106.5’s Steve D to celebrate the end of their Ride for Hope, an epic 1200km journey from Gympie, stopping at Nanango, Condamine, and Mitchell before making the longest leg of their journey to the final destination of Longreach in Central Queensland. All with the aim to connect and learn from individuals and communities along the way, bringing awareness of support services and programs available to those facing challenging times.
Horse ride for hope is about supporting Hope Reins and Outback Futures. Both organisations provide free programs and services to support communities in Queensland.

Who is Hope Reins?
Hope Reins is a place where rescued horses (and other animals) find a home. It’s a place where young people and adults find out they belong … and learn they can make a difference. Hope Reins is a place where people and animals matter, a place where miracles happen … often.
At Hope Reins rescued animals and young people and adults who need something to care about, get acquainted. Together, with the help of our team of amazing, life-giving volunteers, they find a sense of purpose. They work hard, laugh lots and play a part in helping our rescued animals become healthy and whole. They learn to feel good about themselves.
