Join The Morning Wake-up with Kristian & Eliza and register for My Walk for Daniel, a national day of action for child safety education.
Since 2004, the Daniel Morcombe Foundation has gathered with the Sunshine Coast community to Walk for Daniel, from Suncoast Christian College in Woombye to Briggs Park in Palmwoods. However, due to COVID-19, this year, the Walk for Daniel had to be closed to the public, but we can still come together by joining My Walk for Daniel and do your part by walking with family and friends.
How ‘My Walk For Daniel’ will work this year
Join with The Morning Wake-up with Kristian & Eliza and their family on Friday 30 October by doing your own My Walk for Daniel. Register to participate in a 4km walk – registration is free – and also help the Daniel Morcombe Foundation fundraise by making a donation and sharing your walk with your friends, family, and peers. Funds raised help to develop child safety resources and support young victims of crime, and to build a future where children are free from harm and abuse.
For more information and to register for My Walk for Daniel visit danielmorcombe.com.au.
“Walk with the Daniel Morcombe Foundation this October 30 and help continue Daniel’s legacy of child safety across Australia.”
About ‘Day for Daniel’
Every year on Day for Daniel, schools, early learning centres, businesses and communities come together to remember Daniel and continue his legacy by supporting the Daniel Morcombe Foundation.
This Day for Daniel – October 30 – join with people all over the country to walk your 4kms for Daniel wherever you are. From Nambour to the Nullabor, Broome to Bondi, Humpty Doo to Hobart, help us walk Daniel home, a trip he was unable to complete himself.
