And we’re so very grateful.
Key Relationships and Salt 106.5 Station Manager Elisha Jurgensen summed it up perfectly.
“Thank you, Sunshine Coast, for your incredible generosity,” she said.
“Wow—what an amazing community we have here on the Sunshine Coast!
We’re so very grateful.
“Over the past 2 weeks, during our Appeal, you came together and raised just over $100,000.
“What a powerful testament to the heart and generosity of this region!
“Thanks to your overwhelming support, we’ll be sending out 800 hampers to families experiencing financial hardship.
“These hampers are more than just practical help—they are a tangible expression of love and hope to those who need it most.
“The Sunshine Coast community is generous, kind, compassionate, and fiercely committed to loving their neighbour.
What a powerful testament to the heart and generosity of this region!
“I am humbled by every single one of you who gave—I mean every single one. Every cent is a seed, and I truly believe God will bless your generosity to bring even greater things to this community.
“Thank you for taking ownership of your station and standing behind Salt 106.5.
“Together, we’re making a difference, and I am so grateful to be part of such an incredible, giving community.”
We still need to find $18,000 to make sure Salt 106.5 goes into 2025 strong.
We’ve been chatting with you on the phone and reading your comments and messages – and the message is coming through loud and clear. Despite the economic struggles we’re all facing, Salt 106.5 is too important to lose.
Listeners like Jacqueline, “Salt is my medicine tonic – when you have it there every day, it makes you feel really good.
“I have been listening for a long time.
“I was going through a difficult time in my life and came across the station – it came at a time I really needed it. I feel that God has put this station here for me.”
“I feel that God has put this station here for me.” – Jacqueline
Unfortunately, your Salt 106.5 is not funded for 2025 yet.
“We do, however, still have an $18,000 shortfall to fully meet our goal and ensure Salt stays on air through 2025,” Elisha said.
“But with hearts like yours, I know we can bridge that gap!
“Together, we can continue to be a light on the Sunshine Coast, spreading hope for Everyone.”
