Museum Mystery Madness
Museum Mystery Madness is on again this September with more museums and more prizes to win.
Enter a quiz for a chance to win one of four gift vouchers. There’s also a lucky dip during the school holidays.
Each museum quiz is different, and you can enter at one or all nine museums. It’s time to shrug off the cold, embrace Spring, solve the clues and have fun with friends and family.

Noosa Bridge Club Lessons
Noosa Bridge Club is holding their next course of lessons beginning September 5 in their club house at 3 Wallace Street Noosaville.
Why do people play bridge? It is an exciting, social and fun card game that can be played at any level and at any age.
We are a friendly, dynamic club with lots of events and regular sessions including a Saturday session for weekday workers. Bridge is played throughout the world by over 60 million people, and we would encourage anyone to come along or contact us for more information.

BreastScreen Queensland Mobile Service will be at Nambour Mill Village Shopping Centre from 19 September to 6 October 2023 providing free breast cancer screening for women 40 years and over.
Appointments available on Saturday 30 September.
You don’t need a doctor’s referral and appointments take less than 30 minutes.

Blue Care Grief and Loss Program for people in the Community experiencing the loss of a partner and may need extra support during this difficult and challenging journey.
The Program runs for 8 weeks, one day a week for 2 hours providing information on the grief process, offering practical advice, emotional and social support, along with effective coping skills.

The Sculptured Garden Exhibition
2023 is the 25th year of this much-loved exhibition of sculptural and pottery works by members of Buderim Craft Cottage.
About 30 artists are expected to exhibit 200 works, all hand- made on the Sunshine Coast.
The title “Sculptured Garden ” reflects the fact that many of the sculptural works are designed for gardens, but sit equally well in indoor living spaces.
“The Sculptured Garden Exhibition” has a Facebook page where work from some of the artists is featured.
The exhibition venue is Buderim Craft Cottage, 5 Main Steet Buderim.

Buderim Garden Festival
The best Buderim Gardens – Garden Sculptures, plants and flowers will all be showcased at the anticipated annual Buderim Garden Festival in October.
The Festival, from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th October, is the showcase event of the Buderim Garden Club and includes Open Gardens, the Garden Sculpture Exhibition, the Spring Flower Show and Photographic Display, the Church Floral Display, as well as the always popular plant markets.
Tickets are $20 per person for a weekend ticket with access to the Open Gardens and Flower Show, or for the Flower Show only $3 per person, $5 for a family of 2 or more, with school children and students free. Discounts are also available for groups of 10 or more.

Arise is not a women’s conference or retreat. It’s a faith journey in the wilderness where inspiration, adventure and physical challenges forge a deep spiritual experience with God. Come with everything you have: with your heart and your hands, your smile and your tears: come as yourself. Come with an open mind and allow the experience to challenge and change you.
Arise is a 2-day, 2-night event that challenges the character of women and builds trust and unity. The weekend starts on a Friday night and ends on the following Sunday afternoon. During the weekend, women turn over their watches, phones and wallets.

BreastScreen Queensland mobile service in Beerwah
BreastScreen Queensland mobile service will be at Beerwah Community Hall from 23 October to 23 November 2023 providing free breast cancer screening for women 40 years and over.
Women aged 50 – 74 years are encouraged to have a breast screen every two years as the best was of finding breast cancer early. A breast screen appointment takes less than 30 minutes and you don’t need a referral.

Silversmiths Exhibition 2023
The Silversmith Group of the Buderim Craft Cottage will show new and recent work at its Annual Exhibition to be held at the Buderim Craft Cottage, 5 King Street, Buderim
You are cordially invited to visit the exhibition and we would be delighted if you could join us at the Official Opening from 5pm to 7.30pm on Friday 27 October.
The exhibition showcases fascinating, handmade jewellery and metal art. The work is as varied as the silversmiths who make it – from original modern classics to rustic, recycled pieces. Materials used include silver, gold, brass, copper, resin, stones and gems.
There will also be demonstrations where you can watch the artisans in action.

The SunnyKids Mayoral Ball is one of the largest and most vibrant charity balls on the Sunshine Coast. Those who attend the event experience an evening of fine dining on the grandest of scales.
SunnyKids and Mark Jamieson, Mayor of the Sunshine Coast Council, share a passion for helping vulnerable young people in our region and are delighted to share this event with our community for another year.

Twin Waters Party in the Park
The Twin Waters Residents’ Association invite you to help celebrate the 27th birthday of our beautiful suburb by coming along to this free community event held at the Twin Waters Shopping Centre on Sunday 5 November from 3pm, with fireworks at 6:30pm.
Entertainment includes the Pacific Paradise School Choir, live music, jumping castle & APEX games for the whole family.
The BBQ will be sizzling, coffee brewing and there are stacks of raffle prizes donated by local businesses.
Plants and home-made cakes will be on sale.

International Men’s Day – Sunshine Coast
International Men’s Day has been celebrated for 22years in 80 countries.
One of the 6 Pilar’s is “zero suicides for men” which is 2023’s goal. With that in mind we focused this event on mind, body and soul connections.
Every man, woman and child are welcome to experience all of the modalities on offer on the day for free.

U3A Sunshine Coast Expo
The U3A Sunshine Coast Region will hold it’s EXPO23 Open Day on 27 September 2023 10am to 2pm USC Building E.
U3A Sunshine Coast brings together people who may be retired from full-time work but not from living life to the fullest. Indeed, U3A members seek out new friends and new lifestyle activities.
This exciting new venture replaces our traditional Open Day held in January each year. Members will be able to meet the Tutors from other courses and to find out more about what’s on offer in 2024. The Open Day will be held at the University of the Sunshine Coast in their Mid Term break.
To make this first EXPO a huge success we would love to see all our members come along with their friends and family.
